60 Day Challenge-Week 5

Hey guys,

It’s the 5th week of the challenge and just giving you a little update on me.  It’s a work in progress for us as I mentioned on last week because of our tight, tight schedule.  Our actual marketing efforts have slid significantly, but I still am doing what I can from day to day.

You see, this is something that I’ve learned over the course of months and years, that honesty is the best way to run your business.  Now, it could have been easy for me to come on here and give you a bunch of hogwash that makes me look like I am just really tearing it up, but that wouldn’t benefit either of us.  If you can’t do business the right way, you shouldn’t be doing it and straight up lying, is just not it.

As I mentioned previously, I shared that I was working on some things as far as my personal business is concerned.  That was one of the reasons why I started posting weekly, versus daily.  I wanted to put together a video series for all of my newbie internet marketers and subscribers that I thought would really help them.  Well, the good new is that I am about 95% done with that project.  I have one more to go along with constructing the page.  I haven’t decided if I would make it an evergreen series (meaning I would put it in an autoresponder series) or just post the whole series at once.

I am leaning toward an evergreen series to be honest with you as I wouldn’t want them to have to absorb too much information at one time.

As to my progress in the challenge, I can also say that one of the biggest strategies I think is very beneficial is blog hopping.  That one strategy alone has been responsible for a lot of  eyes in the past few days.  It to me is a little more personal and up close.  With this strategy, you are actually on a person’s blog and interacting with their content.  It has a better connection factor that what a forum would do.  Don’t get me wrong, forum marketing is extremely powerful, especially if you’re talking about the Warrior Forum.  That forum alone is huge and the last time I checked, there are about 600,000 (Six hundred thousand) members on there.  Talk about massive, that’s MASSIVE.

So some of my efforts are focused in that area throughout the days as well.  Some of my fellow marketer associates have had some issues with that particular forum and I can understand why they wouldn’t want to frequent it as much.  The key to me and from what I’ve learned is that they will not tolerate SELF promotion in your forum post.  You can only promote with your signature link, but even that can’t be an affiliate link or they will disable it.

So whatever your marketing techniques that you use, be aware of the rules that are in place and you shouldn’t have any problems.

Take care,

I must agree with you about the blog hopping. I prefer it much better than the forums. It is a much better way to interact and it gives you and the commenter better insight to each others needs and concerns. It takes a bit more time, but the interactions are well worth the effort.

    • Mike, that was very well said. In marketing you just have to figure out what’s working best for you and what gives you the best results in time. I mean we all have the same 24 hours in a day, but what activities are yielding effective and efficient outcomes. Thanks for sharing and the feedback.
