How You Can Be Unique In Your Marketing To Attract The Right People

Have you ever been in a position where you felt like you had to keep up with other people, but more particularly, other marketers in your niche?

It seems like they are moving forward and making huge strides in their business, but you seem to to be standing still.  Trust me guys, I get you and I know exactly how you feel.

For me, one thing I needed to realize was that I'm not them and they aren't me.  We are two totally different people who has different personalities and make-ups unlike anyone else.

We definitely don't share the same skill sets and educational background, so why would I think that I could measure up with them in the first place?  It just doesn't make sense and if you find yourself in that predicament at anytime, SNAP OUT OF IT.  Fast!

You're going down the wrong road and you'll end up facing a dead end street.  Why is that?

Think about it for a moment.

You're just living a lie.  What you're doing is not truthful to yourself or to the people that you are attempting to influence.  It just aint happening.

The moment you snap out of it and come back to reality, is the moment your real passion and natural flow will commence.

Trust me on this one.

It's great to admire others or even gather inspiration from them, but don't get hung up in thinking that you have to do everything just like them.  But in fairness to them, they don't know that you're trying to duplicate their personality, that's just something you conjured up in your mind that you had to do.

They are there to offer assistance, guidance or help, but they would never tell you to not be yourself and find your ZONE.

When you're there, things will flow naturally without struggle and hardship.  You'll start connecting on a more intimate level with your readers, prospects, customers, etc. when you tap into this hidden energy flow.

So bottom line.......LOVE YOU, BE YOU, and DO YOU and others will benefit from anything you produce.

I like what you said in this post Jerry and identified with your message very much. The very fact that some of us struggle to keep up with others is a message that maybe simply trying too hard to beat others is not the only direction we can try. Sure – we have to become experts in what we do, but not clones. If what you do isn’t flowing naturally from you, but rather is a watered-down version of somebody else’s success, then there will be no personal fulfilment. And surely that is a vital ingredient?

Thank you for this post which has made me think a bit more about ‘why’ I do this. I still seem to be here after nearly seven months, and it isn’t just the prospect of earning money that keeps me doing this. There is a deeper personal thing that is driving me and this is what I am trying to identify more clearly.

This is a great post Jerry, you got me thinking because there are some very succesful marketers out there and i think that the majority of us want to keep up with them ! .

You have actually made me realise some of these guy’s and gals have been doing this ( Internet marketing thing! ) for a very long time and to try and keep up with them will be mission suicidal 🙂 .

Yes David, it’s very tempting to try and mimic others, but that’s not who you are. You have to be true to yourself as that is the only way people you’re trying to reach can connect with you. They feel your core passion and it’s transmitted when you’re genuinely you. Thanks for sharing.
