Is Your Family The Reason Why? Are They Worth The Struggle To You?
Who are the ones that mean so much to you? Why is it that you do the necessary things that you do every single day?
It's because of those who are looking to you and are depending on you to just "make it happen". It could be a spouse, a kid, or a loved one who's put their faith and trust in you believing that you are going to come through for them.
I understand completely especially coming from a father's perspective. My wife and kids know that dad has their best interest at heart and that he will do what is necessary as long as it is moral, legal, and ethical.
It's just your DNA. That's the way that you're wired and you just can't help yourself.
Now , I'm not naive to the point of not knowing that there are some out there that may not think like us, but for the most part, any loving and caring individual is going to do the right thing for their families.
It's why we wake up every morning and roll out of our beds to ensure that they continue to have a roof over their heads and a nice warm meal every day.
If that's not a motivator for you to be successful, then I don't know what is. It's the fact that you're able to see the smiles on the faces of those that you care so much for. Especially when you can give them opportunities to enjoy some finer things in life like nice vacations every summer without the strain of debt lingering over your head.
That's priceless and worth every penny that you spend. Making so many wonderful memories all because you decided to make a difference and being willing to come out of your comfort zone for them.
It gets to the point where it's really not a struggle, it's just something that you enjoy doing. Whether it's that blog post you just made today, or the video you created, or even just picking up the phone and saying hello to your new prospect.
Think about them on the end of every activity that you have in your business. That my friend will give you the energy, the passion, and the drive to face any tiny little obstacle or as the scripture says "light affliction". They only last a moment.
So take the time to reflect back over the last few days and ask yourself, "Is what I'm doing worth going through the struggle simply because of who I'm doing it for"? I believe the answer will be an emphatic YES!
